Who We Are:
Boyz Talk Too is designed to educate, engage, and empower adolescent boys, ages 10 and older. Through leadership, community service, and life skills.
How We Do It:
Boyz Talk Talk monthly sessions are held in the form of general group meetings/ discussion, field trips (college tours, Boyz Day Out, etc.), community service projects, and/or special events (annual banquet, sleepovers)
Boyz Talk Too topics include, but are not limited to: Bullying, Rumors & Teasing; Popularity, Cliques & Fitting In; Healthy Relationships; Self-esteem & Body Image; The Importance of Education; Goal-Setting & Decision-Making; and Teen Depression
Engaging in community service provides youth with the opportunity to become active members of their community and has a lasting, positive impact on society at large.
Research has shown that teens who engage in community service are more responsible with higher self-esteem and resilience. Volunteering helps the teens gain new skills necessary for the job market such as leadership, communication skills, dependability, time management, and decision making. Therefore, Youth Talk United value providing opportunities for our youth to be a positive IMPACT within their community.
