Our Future Leaders

Committed to the Cause

Youth Talk United Future leaders consist of young adults 18-24 who started in Youth Talk as a youth and have now become our “leaders”. The primary purpose of this group is to continue to drive personal growth, building skills, knowledge, and understanding of the world. The leaders also works with young women and men who have graduated from high school and need assistance with college applications or job seeking, who are pursuing a GED, and who are college attendees or graduates who need social support and mentoring.



  • Major: Chemistry, Pre-Medicine (Samford University)

  • Job: Registrar’s Office, Student Worker

  • Volunteer: Christ Health Center

  • Completed Summer Health Professions Education Program at UAB- Summer 2019

  • Organizations:

    • RANSOM, Leader and Prayer Team Member (campus ministry)

    • Multicultural Affairs Committee (MAC- SGA Executive Branch)

    • IMPACT (Multicultural Peer Mentoring Group)

    • Black Student Union

    • Student Members of American Chemical Society, or SMACS-President Elect

    • Spanish Club
